Her goal was to get the politicians to take action on the global warming. Swedish media reported Thunbergs protests and pushed the story. Students from all over the globe joined in her #FridaysforFuture-inspired strike. They skipped the school day on Friday to protest against climate changes. Climate activists from across the world coordinated this Global Strike for Climate. This was a huge success. There were more than 1.6 million people from 125 nations took part.
