Emily Irene VanCamp was born in Canada. She's an actor who has appeared in a variety of television shows. She is also a star in the film industry. The actress is well-known on Canadian as well as American TV. Emily was interested in performing arts when she was in her 12th grade. She visited her older sister Katie on the set of a film. Once she discovered her passion for the acting world Emily decided to enroll in acting classes and began auditioning. The first time she was cast, she appeared in commercials, but she was not cast until being offered a role on the Canadian children's horror television show Are You Fearful of Darkness? One scene in which she was seen without saying any words. She got her first big breakthrough at 15 when she was cast as a regular character on the WB series Glory Days. Emily's performances caught the attention to Dawson's Creek's Greg Berlanti, who then invited her to his TV show Everwood. Emily was a professional ballet dancer who was also a photographer. Teen listed her as the number one actress in her 20s. Maxim's Hot 100 for 2014 listed Emily as the #51.
