April Lockhart

April Lockhart, born in 1995 on July 4th July. She began guitar and piano lessons at seven years old. She was interested in writing songs was ignited. April Lockhart penned her first track, Different at the age twelve years old. When she was 14 April was devoted for a long period of time in writing song ideas and practicing her musical skills. In the following months, she started taking notes along with her father on trips to LA and NY. April began also to incorporate additional topics that were related to of her peers who are dealing in the area of peer pressure disabilities and even teenage suicide as depicted in the song"Take my Hand. Lockhart has her own following and works as a lifestyle blogger with the popular Ilia clean beauty brand. Born without a left hand, she has a significant part to play in herself. However, it's not the entire tale. Lockhart's Twitter profile does not shy away from her status as disabled and does not make a point of it. The message is? It's crucial to understand that each of us has many faces, our identities are varied and we're much more than our bodies. Lockhart has stated on video that she doesn't wish to be defined by her disability. She doesn't want to become a disability advocate who only talks about that. There are a lot of aspects to Lockhart. My daily life isn't directly affected by disability. I lead a normal day-to-day life and discover my own solutions to issues. This is a major element of my life therefore it's important that we talk about it. Self-acceptance is a long marathon but Lockhart is an absolute inspiration for this aspect. Even so, Lockhart admits that she has had periods that made her feel uncomfortable about her appearance, and the clothes which displayed her arms. She now wears whatever she likes. She also posts her photos on social media. It's all a process is the most important thing. I'm not certain that it will be an end about self-love. That's true of everyone regardless of how much they are afraid. The people around you with who truly know you and see through your eyes are the ones you should be relying on who can remind you of the things you're worried about.
