Kristen Noel Kristy Swanson (born Kristen Noel Swanson) is an American actor who became famous for the role of Buffy Summers. Her other characters include: Rebecca Becky Granger, in the Telefilm Nightingales & the short lived NBC Show with similar name, Erica Paget, as Early Edition on CBS and Marlowe Viccellio as Psych. A native of California Swanson had a passion for acting as a young girl. She was a part of the advertising world, appearing in numerous commercials. In 1984, she made her debut in a screen show of NBC's sitcom It's Your Turn. Her big screen debut came just two years later in the romance show Pretty in Pink. Swan is known for her blonde lisp and breathless voice. She's recently shifted between main characters and smaller roles.
