Actor Katherine Heigl is opening herself about her experience of being born into a "white bubble" and how the realization has affected how she raises her adoptive multiracial children. In a recent "Firefly Lane", "Grey's Anatomy" and "Grey's Anatomy" actress Katherine Heigl revealed that she didn't care about her skin tone, until she met her adopted sister from South Korea. "I asked Meg how she was different when she went out with us parents than those who went out alone. She replied: 'Oh yeah, all the time!' Heigl talked to parents about when she realized the naivety of her actions. Heigl admitted she became angry and felt that it was important to focus her anger towards helping the adopted children she has. Heigl has a son of four year with Josh Kelley, her husband for 13 years. They have adopted Nancy Leigh from South Korea at the age of 12 in 2009. and then Adalaide whom was eight years old older and was Black in 2012.
